ABT is a young company with a long history in PET. ABT’s aggregate years of PET experience approaches 150 years. Beginning with the Chairman, Dr. Ronald Nutt, who commercialized PET while at CTI Molecular Imaging, Inc., ABT’s team includes individuals from the PET biomarker distribution, PET imaging and radiochemistry industry. The team has been developed and anchored around our many talented accelerator scientists and technicians. The mini-cyclotron itself is associated with one of the original PET pioneers, George Hendry. Mr. Hendry developed the ABT accelerator prototype as well as two previous market leading low energy accelerators which have been producing isotopes the last 20 years. ABT’s mini-cyclotron is one-fifth the size of its predecessors.
ABT has built a senior management team of both PET industry insiders as well as veterans of medical device manufacturing outside of PET. The ABT team is rounded out by our partners, brokers and distributors and other stakeholders around the world which will continue to work with ABT to expand the utility and presence of the Biomarker Generator.
